I Love my kids very much,but still to this day wont go seek medical attention unless its broken bones.God put us on this earth to serve him,so if cancer is part of his plan(wether it be more or my kids)nothing medical can save them anyway.Why not enjoy your life in every way and have faith Miricles can happen.I knew a girl that was 9 that went thru it and was miserable and ended up dieing anyway.It was a burdan on the parents,the child and now all the taxpayers that have to pay for something that was inevitable.
Now you know why.....just my opinion,just like everyone else that has one.
Government has too much control as it is....look at our debt now...itll never end with more control.
Emissions control(catalatic converters)I have problems with too.They started that crap in CA...they start wild fires from the heat on dry gras...once again,something government controls needlessly.

If you had ever lived thru the hell, pain, and etc that people endure just on the chance that their life MIGHT be spared or prolonged you wouldn't ask - - - -why not. If you are an adult, you can choose for yourself if you want to gamble, and when to withdraw from the gamble. With a child, if they don't survive - you will beat yourself up for the rest of your life because - how could you as a loving parent make your child endure the pain (which at times you feel is just a legal form of torture) for only a MAYBE chance at a normal life. Each day, week, month, year you find yourself thinking you've come this far. You've stood by while your loved one suffered thru things that you could never have imagined anyone would ever expect another living person to endure.

We all know that most of the time there are going to be very unpleasant conditions you might be expected to endure to overcome some disease or illness. If there is an extremely high rate of a complete recovery - then I'm sure just about any parent would want that for their child. BUT, if the cure is going to decrease the quality of life, I would have second thoughts on even considering it. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to make a decision of this nature - as an adult, you research and do everything in your power to understand the condition you have and what may or may not be done, and what results are possible. And you can make your own decision.

In Minnesota, you get all this medical mumbo jumbo on what the options are, they tell you that it's your decision and then you find out the decision they allow you to make is which course of medical treatment you want to go with. Your decision cannot be - no medical treatment. You want to scream at them, I'm not a doctor. If I can't choose no treatment, then how can you expect me to be able to make a decision on which treatment may or may not save my child's life. Sorry for venting - but if you loose the child in the end - you ask why did we every put them thru all of that. Answer - because we loved them and never had any idea of how extremely nightmarish it could get.

I had a wonderful Grandmother that died from cancer - and her selfish son's said the same thing you just did, why shouldn't we give her every possibility to live???? !!! -- Melissa, obviously YOU have NEVER seen how SICK Chemo makes the patient. There is NO DIGNITY in Chemo - it is just man trying to play GOD! When in reality, the only people ever truly HEALED of Cancer are those that received a MIRACLE healing touch by faith FROM GOD!

You are assuming they don't want him to live. I am a nurse. First the patient has a right to refuse treatment. If my little Alzheimer's patient refuses her meds, I have to write it down as refused. Does she know what she is doing? No. But its against the law for me to force her. 2. All meds are toxins. Meds block an enzyme from doing its job. Vitamins are not toxins. They are the very things allowing the enzyme to work in the first place. Most cancers are caused by nutritional deficiencies of some sort because they prevent the cell from doing its work. See this work www.drday.com This is an MD that refused chemo and radiation. She healed herself with sunshine, rest, nutrient dense foods and getting away from nightshifts and eating junk. She had an orange sized tumor on her pectoral (really not on the breast.) 3. chemo and radiation kill. They depend on killing your cells including healthy ones, including your immune system, and hoping you can come back and hoping only the healthy cells will regenerate. Look up any book by Barry Lynes on cancer. He has researched and has the stats and the data from the last 50 years. 4. This country was founded on the individual's right to choose. This includes a right to die for our beliefs. If these people are Christians, then they only have heaven to look forward to and that, my dear, is a good thing. Look around, its a hard world. It also includes a patient's right to choose not to be resuscitated. This order will only benefit the doctors' pocketbooks. This child will probably worsen and die anyway, especially with chemo, why drag it out? If there is a tumor, remove it and strengthen his immune system and give him a fighting chance. I have had tumors, and it only happens when I am out of my vitamins and not eating well (times of poverty). The minute I get my natural nutrients back, these things always resolve themselves.
